Obstetrics and Gynaecology Director
I am currently a speciality registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, in my final year of post-graduate training. I graduated from Warwick Medical School in 2009, however, my passion for international health was ignited much earlier than that. At the age of seventeen, I participated in my first ‘medical camp’ in Romania and I haven’t looked back since!
After completing foundation training, I volunteered in Uganda, where my interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology began; I realised that safer childbirth is a vital step to improving the lives of women and children throughout the world. Having recently undertaken a year-long project in Rwanda, working to improve childbirth in hospital settings, I am passionate and optimistic that safe and dignified maternity care is possible for all.
